Gateway Substation
City of Richland PUD

Construction of the substation composed of in and out 115 kV termination structures, a 115kV ring bus composed of six (6) 115 kV manual disconnects switches (1) with vacuum bottle interrupter, (1) 115 kV circuit switcher, (1) 115-7.2/12.47 kV,15/20/25 MVA power transformer, (1) 15 kV GOAB disconnect switch, an outdoor enclosed (5) bay 15 kV metal clad switchgear building, transformer oil containment systems and a modular control building.

Lincoln Rock Switchyard
Douglas County PUD

Constructed the Lincoln Rock Switchyard, built the feeder get-away conduit systems in the vicinity, rebuilt, and terminated the transmission lines in the switchyard.

Manson Wildfire Rebuild
Chelan County PUD

Rebuilt a four-mile portion of the District’s Chelan-Manson 115kV transmission line as part of a wildfire mitigation effort. Installed all steel structures, pole base culvert materials, conductors, overhead ground wires, hardware and equipment.

Wapato Creek Habitat
KLB Construction

Removed and replaced steel monopole structures and concrete foundations. Replaced structure and Installed push poles, transmission, and distribution conductors from structure to 40414 to structure 31685. Installed communication line from structure 1 to structure 31685. Removal of existing overhead conductor and poles. Provided traffic control and dewatering for foundation installation.

Kennedy Distribution
PacifiCorp

Replaced 31 poles, installed 7 new poles, 16 gang switches, reconductor existing primaries and neutrals to 9400’ X3 for 28,000’ of 795AAC primary and 9400’ of477AAC neutral. Replaced transformers as needed, transferred U/G risers as needed, transferred secondaries as needed, transferred all streetlights.

Hazel Wood Substation
PacifiCorp

Performed the work and furnished all equipment and material as specified in the Scope of Work in regard to Request for Proposal (RFP) DOC RFX# 5426, Hazelwood 115kV Ring Bus - Tie to BPA. Work included all clarifications, modifications or other changes made to such Scope of Work pursuant to addenda issued.

Tri-Met UG Relocation
PacifiCorp

Installation of Tri-Met gateway green relocate 12 kV UG Vaults. Bored 3,000 linear feet and installed 3,800 linear feet of underground conduit and cable. Installed (10) Pad Vaults.

Rapids Switchyard
Douglas County PUD

Expanded the 230 kV portion of the Rapids Switchyard, constructed the first span of the connecting transmission line between A Frame structure (2DE2) and new monopole (2DE3). Installed 115kV switches. Removed existing switches and replaced with district purchased switches.

I-84 Portland Transmission
PacifiCorp

Installed and removed poles and transfer conductor. Structures 10/11 11/11 12/11; W.O6924780 Tri-Met NE Halsey I-205 Relocate 067171.

Foreman and crew were not only very professional but also did a great job.

Fleet Resources

Magnum Power owns and operates a fleet of over 350 vehicles and power line-focused equipment ranging from heavy-duty crew cab trucks to transport trucks, a full line of tracked machines, horizontal directional drillers, diggers, aerial devices, and complete wire stringing equipment set-ups and supporting equipment and tooling for major transmission work.

We are pre-qualified with 20 plus PUDs and have standing relations and contract commitments with both Public and Private Utilities, REA’s, and Cooperatives that are built on our reputation for delivering on-budget, on-time projects with minimal environmental impact.

Magnum Power is licensed to work in the states of Alaska, California, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming. It is a signatory contractor with IBEW Locals 125, 77, 659, 483, and 1547 and is registered with NAICS, D&B, D-U-N-S, CCR, DOT, and CAGE.
